DR. GEORGE B. JACKSON TAKES A 273 MILE WALK FROM NC - DC TO HELP SAVE RURAL HOSPITALS FROM CLOSING THEIR DOORS!!

Why we walked 283 miles to read more click here!

This is a bipartisan grassroots movement to petition Congress to pass measures to ensure the sustainability of rural hospitals in America. The Walk began on June 1, 2015 in Belhaven, North Carolina and ended on June 15, 2015 on the US Senate lawn in Washington, DC. Rural healthcare is a matter of life and death. People die when that ?golden hour? is exhausted and when people have to drive 40, 50 or 60 miles to get to an emergency room, they will not make it. This is truly a matter of life and death.

We like to thank you again for your your support as we strive together to help build a ?beloved community?.

Grace and Peace,

UCU, Citadel of Faith, and MLK
